Frequently Asked Questions

How do I store the snacks?

Our pet cookies can be stored in room temperature for 6 months. Our pet parfaits can be refrigerated up to 3 days.

Where do your ingredients come from?
Our fish skins are from fish processing factories in Singapore. Our unsalted, sugar free peanut butter, pumpkin, flour, and eggs are currently supermarket bought in Singapore as well.
What are 'surplus' ingredients?

Simply put, surplus ingredients are foods produced in excess. The surplus ingredients we use, like fish skin, are specfically rescued from fish processors that remove fish skin due to demand for pure fish meat. Though fully edible, these surplus fish skins are often discarded due to lack of demand At Pawfoo, we discovered the golden opportunity to upcycle these Omega-3 and collagen rich fish skins into a variety of pet treats. A win-win for both pets and the environment.

Are the surplus ingredients safe to eat?

Yes, the surplus ingredients we rescue from local food manufacturers are collected and stored according to HACCP standards. On top of that, we have vets to review our ingredients and recipes to ensure they are of excellent quality.

Which ingredient from your recipe are surplus ingredients?

Our dory fish, salmon fish and potato are the surplus ingredients.
